The Government of Pakistan, Ministry of Protection, welcomes applications from Pakistani nationals for legally binding arrangements in the PSDP Undertaking named, “Development of ICT and Artificial Intelligence (AI) based Precision Agriculture systems utilizing dual-use Aerospace Technologies-GreenAI.” The positions are based at NASTP, Rawalpindi/Islamabad, answering to the Ministry of Safeguard, Pakistan.

Available Positions

1. Scientific Officer
   • Pay Scale: PPS-08
   • Maximum Age Limit: 01
   • Number of Posts: 2
   • Qualification/Experience:
     • Master in Computer Science/Computer Engineering (at least 16 years of education) or BE (DSP, Embedded, HPC, etc.)
     • 3 years’ relevant experience in system design and development.
     • Responsibilities include system design and development activities of Agri-Verse under the guidance of the Project Manager.
2. Senior Software Engineer
   • Pay Scale: PPS-08
   • Maximum Age Limit: 01
   • Number of Posts: 1
   • Qualification/Experience:
     • MS/BS/BE (Software, HPC, Cloud, etc.)
     • 4-5 years of Cloud Native application development and QA experience.
     • Master’s degree should be completed in computer science, data science, or software engineering disciplines.
3. Software Engineer
   • Pay Scale: PPS-07
   • Maximum Age Limit: 01
   • Number of Posts: 1
   • Qualification/Experience:
     • MS/BS/BE (Software, HPC, Data Science, etc.)
     • 3 years’ relevant experience in system design and development.
4. HPC Engineer
   • Number of Posts: 1
   • Qualification/Experience:
     • MS BE (Software, HPC, Cloud)
     • Preferably with 3 years’ relevant experience in system design and development.
     • Responsibilities include HPC-related system design and development activities of Agri-Verse under the guidance of the Project Manager.
5. HPC Cluster Admin
   • Pay Scale: PPS-06
   • Maximum Age Limit: 02
   • Number of Posts: 1
   • Qualification/Experience:
     • BS/BE/Diploma (Networks, IT Infrastructure)
     • 1 year of relevant experience in Datacenter & network operations & management.
     • Responsibilities include maintaining IT infrastructure, datacenter operations, and Cloud services under the guidance of the HPC Cluster Manager.
